Selecting fragments in source files

o select a fragment in a source file, switch to the editing mode for that file by double-clicking on that file name on the Source Files list. Once you have double-clicked on a file, it will start playing in the built-in player in the right part of the program's window.

Set the Slider to the required position and then click on the In Point button. Thus you will set the starting position, from which the video or audio file will be added to the output file.

Set the Slider to the required position and then click on the Out Point button. Thus you will set the ending position, until which the video or audio file will be added to the output file.

After these manipulations, the selected fragment duration will be displayed in the additional Properties window (available by pressing Ctrl+Enter on the file being edited on the Source Files list). Next...

Note: this fragment selection method is not applicable to images - photographs and pictures. Duration of displaying a picture in the output file can be set in the Properties window (available by pressing Ctrl+Enter on the file being edited on the Source Files list), the Selection edit box.
