MPEG format

o have your output file compiled in the MPEG format (includes MPEG1 and MPEG2), select the MPEG radio button in the Conversion Output section of the program's main window.

Modify the Frame Rate and Frame Size if needed. The program automatically acquires the Frame Size value from the first file on the Source Files list to minimize quality loss during resizing.

Then choose which output format fits you best - MPEG1 or MPEG2 from the Output Type list. The program also carries three additional preinstalled types - DVD, VCD, and SVCD.

If you need to modify bitrate for video or audio streams, specify the CBR (constant bitrate) or VBR (variable bitrate) you want to use - click Settings button and then choose the required settings. Next...

Note: changing the bitrate value mainly affects the file size and its quality. Setting a greater bitrate value makes the output file of greater quality but its size will be greater correspondingly. Lower bitrate value decreases the file size but that may lead to loss of quality.
